Lukas is a Research Assistant at the Nuffield Politics Research Centre (NPRC) and is pursuing his DPhil in Politics at Oxford University (The Queen’s College) under the supervision of Professor Jane Green. At the NPRC, he has worked alongside Professor Jane Green, Professor Geoffrey Evans, Dr Zack Grant, and Gaetano Inglese on the project examining economic insecurity in the UK, and related other projects.

Lukas’s current research focuses on the behaviour of political elites, particularly elected representatives. In his doctoral work, he investigates how increased transparency affects MPs’ legislative behaviour and how this is perceived by the electorate. He holds an MSc in European and International Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a BA in Political Science and Public Law from Heidelberg University.
