Gaetano is a Research Associate at the Nuffield Politics Research Centre (NPRC) and a PhD candidate in Political Science at the London School of Economics (LSE), where he works under the supervision of Professor Sara Hobolt and Professor Cris Anderson.

Gaetano's research interests include understanding individual-level political behaviour in advanced democracies, particularly how early life economic experiences have long-term consequences on individuals' policy attitudes and voting preferences.

At the NPRC Gaetano works alongside Professor Jane Green, Professor Geoffrey Evans, and Dr Zack Grant, on a project about economic insecurity in the UK. He previously studied for an MSc in Comparative Politics and an MRes in Political Science at the LSE.
