Christine Sheldon

Christine is a Dutch DPhil candidate in Politics, specializing in intra-coalition bargaining. In her work, she employs computational text analysis and causal inference-based research design. At the Nuffield Politics Research Centre she is a research review writer and is currently systematically reviewing academic publications on the relationship between electoral turnout and representation.

She has previously completed the MPhil programme in European Politics at the DPIR with distinction, writing her thesis on the interaction of coalition governments with the institutional design of the Dutch parliament from 1848 onwards.
